Jules’ Undersea Lab
Located in the lagoon at MarineLab Undersea Park, Jules’ Undersea Lab is the world’s only underwater habitat where any recreational diver can experience what it’s like to live and sleep underwater! It’s an educational experience with overnight options. Jules’ has been an undersea research station, an exclusive hotel, and now an educational attraction as part of the non-profit MarineLab.
Some of our distinguished visitors include Aerosmith’s Steve Tyler, actor Tim Allen and former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau! We’ve been featured in several magazines and broadcast shows, too.

FAQs
Do I have to be a certified SCUBA diver?
YES! Due to the nature of living in an underwater habitat, we require all participants to have at least Open-Water SCUBA certification. HOWEVER, SCUBA Open Water or Discover Diving students may be in the party if a SCUBA Instructor is ALSO in the party and accepts responsibility for the non-certified divers. See our policy for details.
Can I book a mission by myself?
Divers need to be buddied up! If you can’t find anyone to join you on your mission, contact your local dive shop, take a refresher course or a new specialty and see if you can convince one of your classmates to join you!
What is your policy on minors?
All minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. See our policy for details.
